"Access to high-quality health care is one of the most important issues facing Gippsland. It's not just about improving health outcomes for local residents - a strong and reliable health care system also supports a healthy local economy by creating jobs, attracting skilled professionals, and giving families confidence to live, work, and invest in our region," Mr Chester said. Improving local healthcareMr Chester said local health care providers are working hard to respond to these challenges, and continued cooperation between all stakeholders is vital. "I'll continue working closely with all levels of government and our local health providers to secure the resources, services, and funding Gippsland needs. Our community deserves access to sustainable, high-quality care close to home, and I'm committed to advocating strongly to achieve that outcome."
