Choice… Have you made yours?A website for consumers - learn your rights By Emma Kae - 1st May 2001 - Back to News Stumbling around on the Internet in my merry way I found the website of The Australian Consumers' Association, a not-for-profit organisation the role of which is to inform and protect the consumer.
The website is an informative package that helps to teach you what your rights are, how to shop well, how to complain, ethical consumerism, what to do with unsafe or faulty products, not to mention a whole lot more.
There are simple tips and strategies you can implement into your everyday lifestyle, answers to your consumer based questions and ways to get involved in the association.
It is easy to navigate and extremely user-friendly. The information is presented in a straight-forward manner that is easy to understand.
Why not take a look at the website and learn a little about your rights, and how to defend yourself as a consumer? Click here to see the website.
