Plans For VentnorDo you have an opinion on what facilities Ventnor needs? By Bass Coast Shire Council - 21st September 2007 - Back to News Well, here is your opportunity to have a say.
Bass Coast Shire Council is asking for feedback on a draft Ventnor Infrastructure Master Plan.
The Plan was developed by Cr Kelly Simrajh.
"The plan aims to deliver much needed facilities in Ventnor," said Council’s Infrastructure Director, Steve Piasente.
"The plan puts the various facilities identified in other Council strategies into one overall plan."
The facilities earmarked for Ventnor include:
- Shared bicycle and pedestrian paths;
- Beach access improvements;
- Playground upgrades;
- Car parking improvements in areas next to the foreshore; and
- Toilet block upgrades.
The Ventnor Infrastructure Master Plan is on currently display at Council’s Cowes and Wonthaggi service centres.
Comments on the plan must be made in writing, and addressed to the Chief Exceutive Officer. Email your comments to basscoast@basscoast.vic.gov.au, or send them to Bass Coast Shire Council, PO Box 118, Wonthaggi 3995.
The Ventnor Infrastructure Master Plan is different to the Cowes, Silverleaves and Ventnor Structure Plan. The Structure Plan will deal with how land will be used over the next 15 years.
