By Latrobe City - 13th October 2010 - Back to News

The film will screen on Monday 25 October at the Latrobe Performing Arts Centre in Traralgon from 7pm.

Latrobe City’s performing arts and venues coordinator, Kathleen Roberts, said that the film was a romantic buddy movie about the meaning of relationships, the importance of friendship, and having the courage to pursue the one you love.

"Written by well-known comedian Peter Helliar, ‘I Love You Too’ stars Brendan Cowell as Jim, a 30-something emotionally stunted man whose inability to declare his love to his girlfriend, Alice, threatens to cost him the best thing he ever had. It also leads him to befriend a talented dwarf who helps him find the words to get her back.

"This is an Australian take on a relationship movie, not just between the main character and his girlfriend, but also between the main character and his best buddy," Ms Roberts said.

The film is presented as part of the Big Screen Film Series which aims to highlight the depth and breadth of Australian movies. It is rated ‘M’ and will screen on Monday 25 October at 7pm at the Latrobe Performing Arts Centre. The bar opens from 6pm. LPA members are free; non-members $5.

Bookings are essential. Contact the box office on 5176 3559.
