Member for Morwell Russell Northe has called on the community to celebrate the achievements of exceptional business women by nominating them for the 2016 Telstra Business Women’s Awards.Mr Northe said the Telstra Business Women’s Awards recognise and reward the courage, leadership and creativity of Australia’s business women and play a critical role in raising the profile of women in business.
"There are many inspirational women from a diverse range of working backgrounds in the Morwell electorate who are achieving great things and have demonstrated courageous and successful leadership. The awards provide an opportunity to recognise these women.
"I urge everyone in the community to stand behind our local business women by nominating them for the 2016 Telstra Business Women’s Awards as a way to show our support and encourage other women to follow in their footsteps," Mr Northe said.

"This is a fantastic opportunity to recognise the hard work our local businesses women put in every day and also exposes award nominees to networking opportunities and offers the chance to pursue new ventures," Ms Bath said.
Anyone can nominate a business woman they admire, with entries open from 2 May until 20 June 2016 across five Award categories.
