Tongue twist your way to success The way you word your on-line sales pitch could decide your hit-rate By Kate Backto - 20th July 2000 - Back to News When captivating an audience on-line it does not matter whether you are wearing Gucci or your pyjamas, it's the way you write that matters.
To get the attention of people who may normally have passed you by, use your words to intrigue them to stay. Once they have stopped to take a look around you have an opportunity to maybe entice them into buying something.
Really think about the way you are going to word product descriptions, marketing pitches and advertising. Use your words like a competent sales rep... a house with "a falling roof and an unsteady floor" becomes "a renovator's delight".
Graphics can create imagery and awe many, but are nothing without an accompaniment of great text to spark interest and really sell.
