"Local residents have contacted Council and VicRoads with concerns about the height of the native grasses affecting the vision of motorists using the roundabout," said Charles Taveira, Engineer at Bass Coast Shire Council.
Charles said that Council, in consultation with members of the local 3925 project, will remove the native grasses and replace them with native ground cover. The native grasses that are removed from the roundabout will be replanted along The Esplanade in Cowes.
These works will take place over the next fortnight.
