By Wellington Shire Council - 6th September 2004 - Back to News

Wellington Shire Council is inviting residents from Woodside Beach and surrounding areas to attend a special meeting at the Woodside Public Hall on Wednesday 8 September to discuss the Management and Development Plan for the Woodside Beach Reserve.

The meeting, which starts at 7.00pm, will provide a valuable forum for residents to discuss and provide feedback on draft proposals for work in the town including: the relocation of the playground; relocation and redevelopment of day visitor parking arrangements; the provision of static water storage for CFA purposes; improvements to reserve land south of the Surf Lifesaving Club; upgrades to the BBQ shelter; and cross-dune access to the beach.

Fore more information telephone Wellington’s Property Co-ordinator David McQuillen on 1300 366 244.
