Mobile Library One Week Off RoadThe Mobile Library will be closed for essential annual maintenance and repairs next week, from Monday 22 September until Friday 26 September. By Wellington Shire Council - 16th September 2003 - Back to News This will affect borrowers from the towns of Cowwarr, Gormandale, Coongulla, Loch Sport, Golden Beach, Seaspray and Briagolong which are normally serviced by the Mobile Library’s weekly schedule.
During this period, patrons of the Mobile Library may prefer to borrow books from another branch of the Wellington Library Service, at Heyfield, Maffra, Rosedale, Sale, Stratford or Yarram.
Council has apologised for any inconvenience.
Existing loans will be extended by an extra week so people are not be required to return or extend loans while the trailer is undergoing repairs.
The Mobile Library will be back to its regular timetable from Monday 29 September:
Monday: Gormandale Hall: 10am to 12noon Coongulla Hall 2.30pm to 4.30pm
Tuesday and Thursday: Loch Sport, Lake Street, 10.30am to 1pm and 2pm to 4.30pm
Wednesday: Cowwarr Hall, 9.30am to 11.30am Briagolong Hall, 1.45pm to 5pm
Friday: Golden Beach Hall, 10am to 12noon and 2pm to 4.30pm Seaspray Hall, 2pm to 4.30pm Council also operates permanent libraries in Sale , Maffra, Yarram, Rosedale, Stratford and Heyfield.
