Latrobe Performing Arts membership - a great gift idea
Get your membership and see a diverse range of Australian movies, dramatic, comedy and family shows, classical theatre and music performances and much more across the year!
The Latrobe Performing Arts program is shaping up to be a bumper line-up of drama, comedy, dance and music both on stage and on the silver screen. Why not treat a friend or family member to a membership package for Christmas and open up a world of entertainment for the next year?
Latrobe City Council’s coordinator performing arts and venues, Kathleen Roberts, said that membership offered great value for money.
"You can join the LPA for the 2018 membership year and receive many exclusive offers including movie screenings, free refreshments, prize giveaways and more. In 2018, the price of a member is $35 and for concession, $30. That’s a small outlay for all the benefits members reap. If you join before the end of 2017, there is an early bird price, so make sure you phone the Box Office to find out more information."
"We offer a diverse range of performances across the year including a selection of Australian movies, dramatic, comedy and family shows, classical theatre and music performances and much more," Ms Roberts said.
"We’ve done the planning for you and created three subscription packages. Sweet Soiree brings you guitar duo Ziggy and Miles Johnson, folk from the Evergreen Ensemble and classical music through the Duo Chamber Melange. On Stage offers All My Love a play about the romance between Henry Lawson and Dame Mary Gilmore, Hannie Rayson’s one-woman show Hello, Beautiful! and the enduring comedy Menopause the Musical. Or our Classic package gives you musical comedy Pirates of Penzance, Melbourne City ballet’s performance of Carmen and Damian Callinan’s Swing Man.
"You can buy your membership online at www.latrobe.vic.gov.au/lpamembership, visit the Box Office at the Performing Arts Centre or phone us on 5176 3333," Ms Roberts said.
