The couple was in the running for the prize after completing Council’s agribusiness survey.

Council’s Economic Development Manager, Stephanie Symes, says the survey is part of a project to identify what infrastructure, services and support are needed for the future sustainability of the industry.

"The questionnaire was posted to all farm owners and agribusinesses within the Bass Coast Shire in November 2005.

"All completed questionnaires have been forwarded to the Gippsland Research and Information Service, who have commenced collating the information.

"We are looking forward to the seeing the results, which will be completed end of March 2006," said Ms Symes.

Everyone who returned a completed questionnaire was entered into the draw for a $500 gift voucher sponsored by Murray Goulburn Trading and Bass Coast Shire Council.

Allan and Teresa were very surprised and happy with their win. The Ireland’s said that the voucher would be very helpful as they considered possible purchases of weather gear, drench and farm boots.
