Council Meeting Round-Up: 06 March 2017

Below is a snapshot of some of the decisions made by Council at their Ordinary Meeting on Monday 06 March, 2017.

  • Adopted the submission to the Senate Inquiry into the operation, effectiveness and consequences of the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Order 2016.

  • Community

  • Endorsed the Haunted Hills Bike Park master plan.
  • Noted the review of the Traralgon Tyers United football and Netball Club project.
  • Released the draft Lake Narracan Foreshore Landscape Plans for public exhibition.
  • Adopted dates for Council meetings to December 2017.
  • Adopted the Terms of Reference for Latrobe City Cultural Diversity Advisory Committee.

  • Decisions and reports

  • Received and noted the report on Airport Operations for the quarter ending 31 December.
  • Adopted the Parking Overlay – Collection of Financial Contribution Interim Policy.
  • Authorised CEO to commence negotiations with Brother Nature Holdings for the lease of The Star Hotel, Traralgon.
  • Received and noted report from the Victorian Electoral Commission on the conduct of the Latrobe City council election in October 2016.
