May ‘Mini Masters’ to feature ‘Award Winning Animals’The Latrobe Regional Gallery Mini Masters event for May is titled ‘Award Winning Animals’. By Latrobe City Council - 26th April 2006 - Back to News In association with Jo Grant’s exhibition ‘All Prize Winners Paraded’, children will design and develop a sculptural work based on their chosen animal.
Mini masters is a monthly Saturday afternoon art program at the Latrobe Regional Gallery designed to give children aged 6 - 12 a stimulating art experience. Children discover the exhibitions on display and create works based around appealing themes making the exhibitions entertaining and interactive for young art viewers.
‘Award Winning Animals’ will be held on Saturday 13 May from 2pm - 3pm and the cost is $6.60 per child. Bookings can be made on 5128 5700. All materials are supplied and children should wear old clothing or bring an art smock.
