Inclusive garden initiative
Mr Chester said, "It's a community-driven initiative, designed to support people of all abilities through gardening, education, and social connection. Slated for completion by the end of the year, the garden will include raised, wheelchair-accessible garden beds, sensory-friendly plantings, shaded seating areas, and educational signage in easy-to-read and braille formats."
"GGC will also facilitate workshops and hands-on activities tailored to accommodate people with varying abilities, providing therapeutic benefits, supporting mental health and well-being and encouraging skill-building and community engagement. It's a great initiative that will undoubtedly benefit the community, and I look forward to visiting upon completion," Mr Chester said.
