2007 Sports Uniform GrantsThe Nationals Member for Eastern Region, Peter Hall advises all clubs, organisations and community groups in the electorate that applications for the Sporting Uniform Grants Program for 2007 are now open. By The Nationals - 2nd February 2007 - Back to News Mr Hall said the Our Club, Our Future Sporting Uniform Grants Program provides grants of up to $1,000 to assist in the purchase of sports uniforms from a total funding pool of $1.5 million.
The grants program will provide funding for the purchase of necessary uniform and footwear items essential for playing sport like jumpers, footwear, tracksuits, self defence clothing, shirts & singlets, socks, bathers, hats, pants/shorts, leotards, skirts and athlete suits.
There will be two rounds of funding. Applications for the first round of funding are to be submitted by 1 March 2007.
Applications for the second round of funding must be in by 3 September 2007 (unsuccessful applications from the first round of funding which have met the criteria of this program may be reconsidered in the second round).
