Each was announced at a ceremony designed to formally acknowledge individual staff members and the positive difference they have made to the organisation and the Bass Coast community.

Council’s Acting Chief Executive Officer, Danny Luna, acknowledged the dedication and commitment given by staff over their terms of service.

"The running theme with these extraordinary staff is that they are quiet achievers," Mr Luna said.

"They go about their work with integrity and accountability, in a no fuss manner.

"These staff are held in high regard by their colleagues which was evident in the speeches made at the presentation."
