Inverloch Transfer Station to stay

Bass Coast Shire Council voted to keep the Inverloch Transfer Station open and running at the Ordinary Council Meeting last night.

Bass Coast Mayor, Cr Pamela Rothfield, said Council reconsidered the decision of the previous Council to close the facility following calls from the community to keep the site operational.

"Keeping the Inverloch transfer station open is a result of listening to our community," Cr Rothfield said.

"Councillors have committed to being representative of our community’s concerns and I am delighted to see this in action."
