E-Waste Collection On Phillip Island

Bass Coast Shire Council is running a TV and computer collection on Phillip Island from 10 to 13 January.

By Bass Coast - 20th December 2013 - Back to News

The Phillip Island E-Waste Drop-Off Weekend will be held at the Cowes Public Place Recycling Bank. There will be no charge for the collection, which will help you dispose of any old TVs and computers – especially after Christmas.

As with all e-waste collections in the Shire, items received this weekend will be sent to a processor for recycling.

The Cowes Public Place Recycling Bank is located at Council’s depot on Dunsmore Road and will be open during the Drop-Off Weekend form 10.30am until 3.30pm.

A reminder that E-waste (TVs and computers) can also be dropped off free of charge at the Grantville, Wonthaggi and Inverloch Transfer Stations during operating hours on an ongoing basis.
