Phillip Island Leisure Centre and Bass Coast Aquatic Centre transition to Aligned Leisure management from July 2025
Bass Coast Shire Council has appointed Aligned Leisure to manage Phillip Island Leisure Centre and Bass Coast Aquatic Centre from 1 July 2025, ensuring high-quality programs and a smooth transition for staff and members.
Bass Coast Shire Council has appointed Aligned Leisure to manage the Phillip Island Leisure Centre and Bass Coast Aquatic Centre from 1 July 2025, following a competitive tender process. Aligned Leisure will deliver inclusive, and high-quality programs both within the facilities and out in the community, enhancing member experiences and supporting the physical, social, and mental wellbeing of residents and visitors.

Leisure partnership transition
CEO Greg Box said Aligned Leisure is a highly capable, community-focused organisation with a strong track record in facility management and working in community. "We're excited to partner with Aligned Leisure, leaders in the aquatics and leisure industry, currently operating 46 facilities across Australia," Mr Box said.
Mr Box thanked YMCA Victoria for their years of dedicated service to the Bass Coast community. "Our priority is to ensure a smooth transition, working closely with both YMCA Victoria and Aligned Leisure to maintain seamless access to our facilities."
