Pit-stop for mobile library

Wellington Shire Council’s mobile library service will be temporarily off the road from 28 February until 4 March as it goes in for its annual scheduled maintenance.

By Wellington Shire Council - 18th February 2005 - Back to News

The council would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused by this break in service. Residents of Loch Sport, Golden Beach, Seaspray, Coongulla, Cowwarr, Briagolong and Gormandale who use this service, are being encouraged to make use of the shire’s other library branches during this time. Loan times will also be extended by a week to avoid overdue notices.

The mobile library is part of the Wellington Library Service and brings the enjoyment and educational benefits of reading to towns that do not have a permanent library.

It caters for residents of all ages and interests, with a collection of over 5,000 items including books, magazines, videos and DVDs spanning a comprehensive range of categories and genres.

For more information about the mobile library, and any of the shire’s libraries, please telephone the Wellington Library Service on 1300 366 244.
