Expression of Interest for next Independent MP for Morwell from community sought until 31 August 202
Expressions of Interest are invited from community-minded CAN-DO people to be the next Independent MP for Morwell.
Are you the next Independent MP for Morwell? The incumbent is retiring. Independent MPs are a good chance to hold the balance of power in the next Victorian Parliament. We want an Independent in Morwell and other Gippsland seats to be part of this new wave in politics. Deadline for EOI: 31 August 2022.
You are invited in participating to the Expressions of Interest, as either a Candidate, an Electorate Support Team member, or as a State Campaign Committee member
Expression of interest
We are supporting genuine Independents in outer suburbs and regional electorates in Victoria. We are genuine Independents. Not Left or Right. Not Teal or Green. We want to bring people together across the traditional divisions of progressive vs conservative, blue-collar vs professional, industrial vs rural.
Our Five Key Messages are:
- We deserve our fair share of services and infrastructure
- We need our own representatives in Parliament
- Our households need help with cost of living pressures
- Our kids and families need support
- 'Woke' politics is irrelevant to our communities
To express your interest, fill in the form from the Outer Suburbs Independents: It's Time for Us to be Heard web page. If you would like to talk it over, call Vern Hughes on 0425 722 890 or email vern.hughes@bigpond.com In Narracan, we are supporting Independent Ben Lucas. We also invite Expressions of Interest in Gippsland and Gippsland South.
