Give a Latrobe Performing Arts membership this ChristmasDo you have a friend or family member who loves going to the theatre, or are you stuck for ideas for that hard-to-buy-for person? By Latrobe City - 6th December 2010 - Back to News Latrobe City’s Performing Arts annual membership for 2011 may be just the ticket.
Latrobe City’s performing arts and venues coordinator, Kathleen Roberts, said that the membership program runs for a calendar year and for regular theatregoers or new patrons offers a fantastic range of benefits.
"With a membership, patrons can access discounts on selected performances, receive complimentary film tickets and go into member draws. At just $20 per adult, $15 concession or $60 corporate, we believe that the membership program is great value.
"Tickets to selected shows will be offered to members at up to a 20% discount; there will be six complimentary drinks per year and two complimentary tickets to each film in the 2011 National Film and Sound Archive Big Screen Film series.
"In addition, members will be able to book for shows in advance, via email, and will be eligible for the member draws throughout the year," Ms Roberts explained.
"With a host of diverse and vibrant performances on the calendar for 2011, including ‘Furiously Fertile’, ‘Matching Jack’, ‘Melbourne Comedy Festival Roadshow’, ‘Melbourne Chamber Orchestra’ and ‘The Gruffalo’s Child’, there is something for everyone.
"Now is the time to join the membership program and reap the rewards of a wonderful theatre year," Ms Roberts concluded.
