Bushfire Message Book Available To SignLocal MPs Russell Northe and Peter Hall are inviting anyone who wishes to offer their condolences to bushfire victims and show support for emergency services crews to sign an official message book available in their offices. By The Nationals - 13th February 2009 - Back to News "This is a tragedy of unimaginable proportions," Mr Northe said.
"Our community has been deeply affected by these fires; our lives forever changed.
"We grieve for family, friends, neighbours and colleagues taken too soon.
"We are saddened by the loss of homes, pets and treasured personal effects.
"We feel forever indebted to the brave men and women in uniforms of yellow, green and blue."
Mr Northe said the bushfire book provided an outlet for all Victorians to record messages for posterity.
"I invite all members of the community to attend my office at 66 George St Morwell or Peter Hall’s office at 181 Franklin St Traralgon to write their own message of sympathy or heartfelt thanks," he said.
Signed pages from both offices will be returned to Parliament House and bound into books for display.
