Young Leaders Come Together for the Environment
Two representatives from every school across Bass Coast were invited to explore their environmental interests through a series of fun activities.
Bass Coast Shire Council's Young Leaders for our Environment came together recently, to turn their passion for our environment into practical initiatives to help Bass Coast reduce its ecological footprint.

Bass Coast Shire Mayor, Cr Brett Tessari and CEO Ali Wastie congratulated workshop participants, including Hailey and Talia from Wonthaggi North Primary School.
Bass Coast Shire Council Youth and Early Years Planning and Policy Officer, Joey Boothby organised the facilitated workshop for the Young Leaders, including Josh from Cowes Primary School.
Bass Coast Shire Council's Waste Education Officer, Shana Bremner with Inverloch Primary School Environment Captains, Sunny and Archie.
Bass Coast Young Leaders Sunny from Inverloch Primary School, Miki from Cowes Primary School and Maeve from St Joseph's Primary School enjoyed the workshop held recently.
