Young leader honoured
Fabulous to see a young leader of the future (from my old school), being recognised at the Anzac Day parade in Sale. Penny Glover from Guthridge Primary School was presented with the John Printz OAM Award in front of a huge crowd at the Sale Memorial Hall. Penny was one of many leaders from local schools who participated in today's ceremony.
The commemorative event and wreath-laying service organised by the Sale RSL was well supported by Australian Defence Force personnel, veterans and community members. Huge thanks to everyone who contributed, particularly the Sale City Band members who gave the march and service that little bit of extra pomp!
