Have Your Say On Proposed Hotel In Rhyll

Bass Coast Shire Council is currently assessing a proposed hotel development at the Swan Bay Caravan Park site in Rhyll.

The proposed hotel includes 91 hotel rooms, 81 apartments, a restaurant; function room, five retail shops, swimming pool and gym.

Council is inviting public comment on the proposed development. Submissions should be made by June 8.

"If you have already sent in a submission there is no need to resend it as we will be taking previous petitions and comments into consideration," said Council’s Planning Manager, Hannah Duncan-Jones.

"Once all submissions have been considered, we will make a recommendation to the Council, who will make the final decision."

Plans can be viewed at either Council’s Cowes or Wonthaggi Customer Service Centres. A copy of the plans can also be requested to be mailed out.

Submissions should be in writing and mailed to: Statutory Planning Team, Bass Coast Shire Council, PO Box 118, Wonthaggi 3995.
