Ripped AgainTop local bands will play at the Ripped Again Tour in Woodside, Loch Sport, and Seaspray over the holiday period. By Wellington Shire - 22nd December 2005 - Back to News The tour follows on from the success of the battle band contest and last years highly successful Rip Tour organised by the Sale FReeZA Committee.
The tour will feature battle of the bands winner Quartestone with support from local bands Ghetto Pandas & FOTD.
All three bands are Sale based and are looking forward to the three night tour.
Youth Development Officer, David Roberts said that the tour is fantastic on a number of fronts.
"The tour provides local bands with the opportunity to experience what it is like to be on a tour; setting up, performing and then packing up and moving on to do it again the next night"
"It also provides a great opportunity to hold FReeZA events in some of the Shire’s smaller towns namely Woodside, Loch Sport and Seaspray"
Last years tour averaged over 70 people at each event with Seaspray being the biggest.
The tour will visit Woodside on Wednesday the 28 December, Loch Sport on Thursday 29 and Seaspray on the 30 December.
It will be a great way for young people to celebrate the New Year in a positive and safe environment with Council’s Youth Development Officer in attendance along with qualified security staff.
Each event will start at 7.30pm and conclude at 11.30pm, no pass outs will be available and the event is an alcohol and drug free event.
