Expecting thousands of people
Thousands of people are expected to attend the expo on Thursday 28 October in Traralgon and find out about local services for children and families. The expo is being hosted by Latrobe City Council at the Gippsland Regional Indoor Sports Stadium (GRISS) from 12pm to 6pm as part of National Children's Week.
Activities kids will enjoy
Latrobe City Council Mayor, Cr Sharon Gibson said, "There are so many services and activities for children in Latrobe City to enjoy, and they will be showcased in one location at the Latrobe City Children's Expo 2021." All money raised from stallholder registrations goes towards the cost of running the event. Community groups run by volunteers are not charged to participate.
Fees charged
Funded not-for-profit organisations are charged a small fee and private businesses that may profit from the event are charged a higher fee. An early bird rate applies for private businesses but places are limited. The event will be held in accordance with COVID restrictions and safe practices.
Invitation to all stallholders
Stallholders from across the region are now being sought. Does your business or community group service families with young children? Perhaps you provide goods or services, quality food, or fun and engaging entertainment options to suit young audiences? If so, you are invited to register as a stallholder online at children's expo.
