Gallery to hold Annual General MeetingThe Annual General Meeting of the Latrobe Regional Gallery Advisory Committee will be held on Wednesday 6 December 2006 at 7pm at the Gallery, 138 Commercial Road, Morwell. By Latrobe City - 6th December 2006 - Back to News Acting Curator, Sherryn Vardy said that the Advisory Committee was comprised of representatives from the Gippsland Centre for Art and Design Monash University, ARC Yinnar, GippsTAFE, Latrobe City Council and the Latrobe Regional Gallery Friends.
"There are four places on the Latrobe Regional Gallery Advisory Committee for community representatives. Committee members assist with a wide range of issues including policy development and acquisitions for the Gallery’s permanent collection."
"We would extend an invitation to all community members interested in the arts to attend the Annual General Meeting. Committee meetings are held on a monthly basis and all input is welcome," Ms Vardy concluded.
Nomination forms for community representatives on the Latrobe Regional Gallery Advisory Committee can be obtained from the Gallery’s reception and should be received at the Gallery no later than close of business Wednesday 6 December.
