Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend an exhibition of local students’ visions for the future.

Students across Phillip Island and San Remo have been drawing, painting, sculpting and writing about their vision for the area’s future as part of the Phillip Island and San Remo Design Framework Project.

Their work will be displayed at an exhibition sponsored by Banfields.

When: Sunday 9 September, noon-5pm. Announcement of the best 20 exhibits at 3pm.

Where: Cowes Cultural Centre, Cowes

Who: Students from primary and secondary schools across Phillip Island and San Remo.

Why: To give students the opportunity, through art and literature, to become involved in shaping the future of the area in which they live.

Cr Miranda Sage, Mayor of Bass Coast Shire Council, will select 20 of the best exhibits. The students who submitted these exhibits will be interviewed on video at a later stage about their ideas and vision for Phillip Island and San Remo. The video footage of these students will be shown at various venues and forums throughout the Design Framework Project.
