Bass Coast Shire Council has been inundated with entries for the 2002 Bass Coast Best Dressed Business Competition, which opened on Monday 23 September.
"We’ve already had a fantastic response, but we’re keen for more local businesses to enter," said Cr John Gains, Mayor of Bass Coast Shire Council.
The competition is sponsored by Bass Coast Shire Council, The Australian Grand Prix Corporation and Lombard The Paper People.
"Thousands of visitors will be flocking to Bass Coast for the Grand Prix and this competition helps create that welcome atmosphere the area is famous for," said Cr John Gains, Mayor of Bass Coast Shire Council.
"All you have to do is dress your business premises up in a Grand Prix inspired theme," said Cr Gains. "There are great prizes to be won, including tickets to the 2002 SKYY VODKA Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix, in both the small and large business categories."
Entry forms are available at all Council offices, by calling (03) 5671 2211 or (03) 5951 3311 or on Council’s website at www.basscoast.vic.gov.au
