Locust Information SessionA number of confirmed locust hatchings have occurred in Northern Victoria over the past few weeks. Several hatching have been reported in the Swifts Creek area. By Department of Primary Industries - 14th November 2005 - Back to News Dr Malcolm Campbell, Principal Scientist from DPI and Rob Fisher, DPI Locust Operations Manager, will be visiting Swifts Creek on Wednesday 9 November to discuss these recent hatchings.
An Information session will be held in the Conference room at the DPI Swifts Creek office commencing at 10.30am. This will be followed by a farm walk to inspect an area where hoppers have been found.
