Agreements support environmental upgrades

Environmental Upgrade Agreements (EUAs) assist businesses to reduce carbon emissions, reduce water use, increase productivity, and cut energy costs.

South Gippsland Shire Council is to introduce Environmental Upgrade Agreements (EUAs) to assist businesses to reduce carbon emissions, reduce water use, increase productivity, and cut energy costs. An EUA is an agreement between a property owner (non-residential), a financial institution, and local government to facilitate a building upgrade that improves energy, water or waste efficiency, or reduces emissions to the environment.
