Boolarra Preschool Outdoor UpgradeThe children at the Boolarra Preschool will soon be enjoying a smart new outdoor area with money donated by the Boolarra Markets and a minor capital grant from the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development. By Latrobe City - 19th September 2008 - Back to News Early childhood teacher, Jan Greenwood said that the parents and staff have long wanted to start the renovations to make a more attractive and educative play area for the children.
"This funding will be put towards an outdoor paved area which will incorporate bench seating and a digging patch. It will be partially enclosed by a low hedge.
"The preschool here in Boolarra, being a rural one, has a limited number of families to participate in fundraising activities, so the assistance from Boolarra Markets and the grant is most welcome and has enabled this project to be commenced," Ms Greenwood concluded.
