"Boot camp sessions are not just open to hardcore fitness fanatics. The high numbers and diverse background of attendees across our programs to date indicates that the sessions attract everyone from beginners to the more experienced gym goer. "The regime promises fast results and by measuring key indicators at the very start, we can chart participants’ progress across the six weeks of the program. The sessions focus on overall fitness and include cardio, weight training, strength endurance and stamina. There are multiple trainers at each session so the group can experience different workout routines. "By introducing a boot camp session at the outdoor pool we are adding to the variety that we have already promoted through the other sessions. We like to mix it up, to keep people on their toes. We want them to experience an exercise regime that is challenging and stimulating," Mr Switzer said. "Each program is tailored to give participants as much support as possible to keep them motivated. It’s a progressive program over the course of the six weeks but if you want an extra challenge or to be motivated to the extreme, we will ensure that you are receiving that to get the most out of the program. "The benefits of undertaking such a physical challenge are diverse. Participants on previous boot camps have noticed freer movement within their bodies, stress reduction, increased energy, weight loss, better sleep and higher self-esteem.
