CSIRO lifts farming into the futureThe introduction of the future science platforms (FSPs) to assist Australian businesses move towards more advanced, sustainable and profitable practices. By Portal Admin - 12th December 2016 - Back to News CSIRO has recently announced the introduction of future science platforms (FSPs) to assist Australian businesses move towards more advanced, sustainable and profitable practices. The Active Integrated Matter (AIM) FSP will provide Australian industry with tools to capitalise on predicted changes and ensure preparedness for future population, climate and environmental scenarios.
The AIM FSP focuses on:
smart on-farm manufacturing
eliminating food loss
morphing equipment
autonomous science for physical construction
The AIM team seeks to develop partnerships between academia, research, industry and business through research partnerships, researcher placements, consultancy services and commercialisation of IP.
