Metung Primary School celebrated AFL Preliminary Final week with a Footy Colours Day, featuring a parade, football activities, and a lunch of mini hot dogs and party pies.
The students and staff at Metung Primary School were into the spirit of the AFL finals with an invitation to dress up to celebrate 'Footy Colours Day'. In addition to a parade, the students participated in some football-related exercise before joining in a lunch featuring party pies and hot dogs.

Footy fun at Metung
Bit of fun with the entire Metung Primary School to celebrate Preliminary Final week in the AFL. The students and staff enjoyed a 'footy colours day' with everyone joining in some football-related exercise before the mandatory mini-hot dogs and party pies.
Of course, Tim Bull and I had to help the students out with polishing off some of the footy fare! Tim actually attended Metung PS as a young fella whereas my primary school days were spent at Guthridge PS in Sale. Well done to the teachers and support staff for putting on such a fun event for the student and yes, I found one Swans supporter in the crowd!
