Latrobe City Libraries Program Officer, Noeline Grayden said that the group was a mixed voice four part choir, based in Trafalgar.
"In 2004, they celebrated ten years of entertainment and nearly one hundred performances. Led by Welsh-born Jeff Beynon of Thorpdale, the singers continually delight their audiences with their wide range of songs and performances, sung as a group or by several soloists.
"Their repertoire includes melodies from popular musicals such as ‘Carousel’ and ‘Oklahoma’ along with many inspirational songs from Australia, including works from ‘The Seekers’ as well as folk songs from the United Kingdom and many more," Ms Grayden explained.
"The Hillendale Singers have, through their many performances, helped many organisations to raise many thousands of dollars towards numerous very worthy causes," Ms Grayden added.
"If you enjoy a good old-fashioned sing-a-long then come to Moe Library and listen to the Hillendale Singers," Ms Grayden concluded.
