Win a dinner with Glenn McGrath Book a stand or take a sponsorship deal at the Victorian Agribusiness Summit, to be held on Phillip Island, and go in the draw for a seat at the top table with the cricket legend. By Susan Webster - 28th April 2009 - Back to News August 5-6 sees Victoria’s foremost agribusiness summit being staged on the beachfront in Cowes. Glenn – who also happens to be a farmer – will be the dinner speaker, thanks to the generous support of Elders.
A keynote speaker will be AFFA secretary Michael Taylor, along with leaders in a range of sectors such as dairy, beef, wine and horticulture and including the ‘new’ ag-industries such as organics, agritourism and alternative fuels.
And you could be there. Sponsorship packages start from $500 plus GST. Trade stands are $1000 plus GST. Book and pay before May 30 and you’re in the draw.
The summit is being organised by Agribusiness Gippsland Inc.
Other sponsorships are starting to roll in, including Bass Coast Shire Council and the Victorian State Government. Sponsorship packages are now on offer.
"The summit is the main event on the state’s agribusiness calendar and is expected to attract around 300 people," said AgInc chair Alex Arbuthnot. "We are assembling a program including heavy-hitters, people of influence who you might never have heard before.
"Service provider or banker, smallholder or seriously big player: you will be inspired, be challenged and be motivated as agribusiness leaders share their insights."
Never before has there been a more important Victorian Agribusiness Summit. An opportunity to think beyond the present and share industry inspiration and networking. Stretch your boundaries and profit from the challenges of change.
EARLY-BIRD BOOKING is now open. Get in first. Register for a program. We’ll send you a program and registration form.
