Helen Garner, one the big names that keep coming with appearances
Latrobe City Council Mayor, Cr Sharon Gibson said that hosting a high-profile cultural event like the Sydney Writers Festival in Latrobe City would bring literature, current affairs and intelligent, lively debate direct to our library screens.
"The Moe Library has hosted the Live&Local broadcast for a number of years. One of the great aspects of the livestream is the opportunity for local audiences to submit questions to panellists and presenters. It’s the next best thing to being in the audience," she said.

Richard Flanagan, considered by many to be the finest Australian novelist of his generation
will also be featured in the event
Cr Sharon Gibson said, "There are some giants in the literary field with beloved Australian writers Helen Garner and Richard Flanagan, and of course, the iconic Judy Blume.
