By Darren McCubbin - 30th July 2010 - Back to News Federal Labor Candidate Darren McCubbin has slammed the incumbent National Party MP, Darren Chester for using his parliamentary entitlement for blatant election advertising.
Almost half of page three of Thursday 29 July edition of the Latrobe Valley Express is devoted to election advertising which is entirely paid for using his printing and communication entitlement as a Federal Member of Parliament.
Mr McCubbin said "while it is within the letter of the law, it is very disappointing for someone who is always banging on about responsible economic management to blatantly waste taxpayers money".
"He voted against our kids’ future through the school building program but I guess he has voted for the Chester Re-election program"
