Carinya Celebrates Its Birthday In StyleThe staff and children at Carinya Early Learning Centre celebrated the centre’s 19th birthday last week with a dress up day and morning tea. By Latrobe City Council - 24th June 2005 - Back to News Team Leader, Aileen McFarlane said that the children really enjoyed wearing their costumes and even the staff joined in the dress up fun.
"We had fairies, clowns, pirates and superheroes. Children in all rooms participated and the staff also wore costumes. We had a special morning tea of fairy bread, sausage rolls, cakes and other goodies to eat. The children got to sing happy birthday and enjoyed the special day," Ms McFarlane said.
