Building Upgrades at Newborough Primary School
New works undertaken for Newborough Primary School.
Newborough Primary School will soon have important new works undertaken, thanks to the Andrews Labor Government.
Member for Eastern Victoria Harriet Shing today announced the upgrade, with $296,500 allocated to fund the refurbishment of toilet facilities at the school.
The Andrews Labor Government is working to strengthen community pride in schools, and build the Education State so that every Victorian student gets the opportunity for a great education and every community has access to a great school.
The school building boom has delivered more than 1,300 school upgrades and 70 new school projects across the state, supporting more than 5,000 construction jobs for Victorians.

Quote attributable to Member for Eastern Victoria Harriet Shing
"I was really pleased to be able to assist a student’s mum who contacted me recently about the need to improve the toilets at the school because her child found them uncomfortable and unwelcoming."
This grant builds upon the work we’ve already completed with the brand-new and recently-opened classrooms at this great local school, and it will give all students the best chance to settle in, adjust to school life and thrive."
