National Water Week Festival goes online!National Water Week is going online! By Portal Admin - 12th October 2020 - Back to News This year, National Water Week is going online! as East Gippsland Water partners with water corporations across the state to bring you the National Water Week Online Learning Festival.
National Water Week itself runs from the 19th to 25th October, inspiring individuals, schools, communities and organisations to build awareness around the value of water, and the theme is ‘Re-imagining our water future’.
The Online Learning Festival will launch on the 19th October with the announcement of the primary schools’ poster competition state winners. The regional winners for East Gippsland will be revealed throughout the week.
The Online Learning Festival is chock full of free activities, such as science experiments, virtual tours, story times and even an online theatre show! All the activities focus on water saving, water usage and our water future.
The festival has a variety of activities for students of all ages, all learning styles and across multiple curriculum areas.
