Buddy’s Back at the entertainment centreRelive the golden era of 50s Rock & Roll when Wellington Shire Council's Esso BHP Billiton Wellington Entertainment Centre hosts Buddy's Back - a cabaret tribute to the career of Buddy Holly on Saturday 6 November from 8pm. By Wellington Shire Council - 14th October 2004 - Back to News Cabaret extraordinaire Scot Robin, who played the role of Buddy in popular stage-show The Buddy Holly Story, portrays Holly’s charisma in a high energy performance recreating the work of the most influential, creative force in early rock & roll.
The show promises two-hours packed with brilliant costumes and over 30 of Buddy Holly’s greatest hits including favourites like ‘That’ll be the Day’, ‘Peggy Sue’, ‘Raining in my Heart’, ‘Oh Boy’ and ‘Rave On’.
Buddy’s Back has enjoyed tremendous success touring nationally to sell-out crowds with rave reviews.
Ticket prices are$29.90 for adults and $24.90 for concession card holders. For bookings and more information please call the entertainment centre’s box office on 5143 3200.
