Expressions of Interest open for community grants across Gippsland until 23 September 2022
Funding to help the thousands of volunteers who dedicate their time and support the community hroughout Gippsland
Federal Member for Gippsland Darren Chester encouraged local community organisations to apply for funding to support the work of their volunteers.
Federal Member for Gippsland Darren Chester is calling for Expressions of Interest (EOI) from local community groups for the latest round of Volunteer Grants. "Throughout Gippsland we have thousands of volunteers who dedicate their time and support the community."

Assist local organisations
Mr Chester said, "This funding is designed to assist organisations to ensure they can continue to provide for and support the community safely and appropriately."
Mr Chester said local organisations can apply for grants of between $1,000 and $5,000. "These grants can help pay for equipment, reimburse fuel costs, expenses associated with training and transport or for promoting awareness and increasing participation in volunteering."
"Volunteers are the lifeblood of our community and by continuing to help each other and work together, we are building a stronger and safer Gippsland." Mr Chester said.
Expression of interest submission
Interested organisations must submit an EOI to be considered for a grant. Expressions of Interest must be submitted by 5pm, Friday September 23, 2022. Successful applicants will then be invited to complete a full submission. Volunteer organisations can submit an EOI form via Darren Chester's website.
