Milestones achieved in 2023 for West Gippsland West Gippsland Catchment Management Authority
West Gippsland CMA achieved milestones in 2023, forging partnerships, restoring Agnes River, and succeeding in flood recovery, proud of collaborative conservation efforts.
Increasing partnerships, removing the last willow from the Agnes River, and delivering a remarkable flood recovery program were just a few of the highlights of 2023 for West Gippsland Catchment Management Authority (CMA). We are incredibly proud of all we have achieved together with Traditional Owners, partners, volunteers and community over the past year to protect and enhance West Gippsland's wonderful natural assets.
Through collaboration, plans were formulated for efficient soil management strengthened by initiatives in waterway health, environmental stewardship, and community capacity for holistic natural resource management
