Mr Chester has secured federal government funding for the first stages of the plan to link Eastern Beach and Main Beach with an elevated boardwalk, and fill-in the missing links on the existing foreshore path along Cunninghame Arm.

The end result will be more than four kilometres of all-ability accessible shared pathway which features Indigenous-themed artwork including a magnificent Borun and Tuk seat which will be installed near the footbridge during August.
