Latrobe Listens Sessions invite community voices to shape better customer experience and stronger local engagement

Latrobe City Council invites residents and businesses to share feedback at Latrobe Listens sessions, helping shape future customer experience and engagement strategies that better reflect community needs and improve service delivery.

Latrobe City Council is inviting community members and local businesses to have their say at a series of Latrobe Listens Customer Insight Sessions this July. Led by council's Customer Focus and Communications Team, the sessions aim to capture real experiences, ideas and feedback from residents and business owners to inform the development of council's next Customer Experience and Community Engagement Strategies.

Your voice matters

Community feedback is essential to ensure these strategies reflect the real needs, expectations and experiences of the people who interact with council every day. The insights gathered will directly inform how council improves service delivery, strengthens communication and creates a more responsive, customer-focused organisation.

Latrobe City Council Mayor, Councillor Dale Harriman, encouraged people from across the region to take part in shaping how council communicates and delivers customer service. "These sessions are about listening to the people who interact with council every day."

"Your feedback will help us better understand what's working, what needs to improve, and how we can deliver a more connected, responsive and community-first experience. Whether you've contacted us recently or not, your voice matters. We want to make it easier, clearer and more satisfying for people to deal with council. Your input will help us do just that," the Mayor said.

Latrobe listens sessions

To thank participants for their time, all attendees will receive a $50 Latrobe City gift card. Bookings are essential and can be made at Latrobe Listens - Customer Insights Sessions website.

For those unable to attend a session, council has made it easy to contribute online. "If you can't make it to one of the sessions, you can still have your say by completing the online survey on our Have Your Say platform. Every piece of feedback counts," the Mayor added.

The sessions are open to all community members and local businesses and are designed to be relaxed, accessible and inclusive.
