Latrobe City Council seeks community feedback to help shape Churchill future on town centre vision and improvements
Latrobe City Council is seeking community feedback to help shape the 15-year Churchill Town Centre Plan. Share experiences online or attend local engagement sessions by 12 September 2025.
The Churchill Town Centre Plan sets the vision for how the community wants the Churchill Town Centre to look and feel over the next 15 years. Latrobe City Council is seeking your input into how Churchill's Town Centre is planned and is asking the community to share their experiences, such as where you have noticed issues or had good experiences. Feedback received will help to shape the Churchill Town Centre Plan.
Help shape Churchill's future - share your ideas on access, development, and public spaces in the 15-year Town Centre Plan, submit feedback by 12 September 2025
Have your say
Community members can share their experiences in the Churchill Town Centre via an online map, where they can pin locations and share photos and comments. People can also complete an online survey which provides details on how community members access the centre of town, how they feel about the town centre and the reasons for their visits. Community listening posts are planned for August in Churchill and a community engagement session will be held online and in person on 14 August 2025.
Latrobe City Council Mayor, Councillor Dale Harriman said this is an important piece of work to help shape the future of Churchill Town Centre. " Council wants to ensure that any plans for Churchill Town Centre are reflective of the aspirations and needs of the local community. By providing your feedback we can note common themes in responses and identify opportunities that should be included in the Churchill Town Centre Plan," said the Mayor.
Community members can access the online map and survey through council's engagement platform, Have Your Say Latrobe City website. Feedback will be accepted until 5pm Friday 12 September 2025.
